- Expanding numbers of students and faculty
- Supporting numerous faculty initiatives integrating technology into teaching & learning practices
Successes in 2007-2008
- New capacity to develop Teaching Objects for both online and hybrid courses (2+ developers)
- New online resources for Sessional instructors and Teaching Assistants
- Launch of Teaching Certificate program for Teaching Assistants and Sessional instructors
- 50% response rate in NSSE
Goals in 2008-2009
- To increase participation in Course Evaluations
- To encourage/increase faculty papers about their teaching and learning practices
- To create a venue to highlight exemplary teaching/learning initiatives
- To research activities into new faculty mentorship program
