Successes in 2007-2008

  • New capacity to develop Teaching Objects for both online and hybrid courses
  • New online resources for Sessional and Teaching Assistants
  • Launch of Teaching Certificate program for Teaching Assistants and Sessional instructors

Goals in 2008-2009

  • Increase participation in Course Evaluations
  • Encourage/increase faculty papers about their teaching and learning practices
  • Create a venue to highlight exemplary teaching/learning initiatives
  • Research activities into new faculty needs/orientation
