Copy a single item from another sites resources

To import all of the contents from a previous courses' Resources tool please refer to Import From Site. This process details how to copy single items from one courses' Resources tool to the other.
[edit] How to copy an item from another course
To complete the procedures in this article, you must be assigned a role having the necessary permissions. This often excludes Students and TAs by default. To determine your role, follow the directions in Participant roles.
For a basic understanding of roles and permissions, see Permissions and roles.
- In the menubar of the relevant worksite, click Resources.
- 'At the bottom of the list select Show other sites'.
- Scrolling down past the current course, from the list of other sites expand the folder of the site that contains the content you would like to copy by clicking the appropriate folder with the + icon.
- Repeat this step for sub-folders.
- Scrolling down past the current course again, next to the item you wish to copy select Actions menu, click Copy.
- To move several items at a time, mark their corresponding checkboxes, and then, above the list of items, click Copy.
- In the current courses Resources navigate to the location where you wish to copy the item to , and then click the "Paste copied items" icon

Note: To cancel the move, click the rest button .
