To kick off this week, we started with core training. Last week GM mentioned leg fatigue with respect to running 3 days/week, thus our focus today was more on strengthening the trunk and upper body.

[edit] Upper Body Day

Date: November 18, 2011

Time: 12:30

Group Members in attendance:

  • Andrew LeBlanc
  • Kayley Kettles

It was suggested that the arms receive very little attention as compared to the legs, with respect to GM's running routine 3 days/week. Often GM's legs are also fatigued from running, therefore we decided on an upper body day. We introduced free weights and the cable machine. This was the protocol for today.
