Registration: The cost of attendance at the OUCEL Summer Institute 2013 is $200.00 (HST included) per person - this includes attendance at the full event and supper on the evening of the second day.

Accommodations:

Registration cost does not include accommodations. There are 20 single rooms ($65 per night) blocked for Ontario Universities’ Council on eLearning in our new on-campus residence buildings. To book your accommodations, contact conference@brocku.ca or telephone 905-688-5550x3369

1:00-1:15pm: Orientation to Brock University and the OUCEL Summer Institute

1:15-1:50pm: “Lightning round” meet and greet

1:50-2:00pm: Formal welcome from the Provost's office

Evening: Dinner is not provided but reservations have been made downtown at Dani's Bistro.

11:00-12:00: Panel: Value Proposition of Blended Learning (UofO PDF, Niagara College)

12-1: Lunch

1-2:30: LTi App Landscape. Webinar by Rob Abel, CEO IMS Global Learning Consortium and Sandra DeCastro, Vice President, Community Programs, IMS Global Learning Consortium

3:00-4: Authentic Assessment (Wikipedia in the Classroom, GIS: Using Open Data,
