Successes

- very effective term start-up: record number of TAs attending orientation

- new approach for New Faculty Orientation was very successful

- keynote speaker at Annual Teaching Day: Dr. John Bean re. Writing Across the Disciplines (excellent speaker)

- increased interest in faculty pursuing teaching excellence awards; focus on teaching

- increased interest in UDLEs and seeking support from TSS

- increased interest in developing online courses and using technology in teaching

- retired faculty member volunteered to provide 'ESL' training to faculty who require assistance with English for teaching


Upcoming Challenges/Events
