In Fall 08 we will begin a full LMS review therefore the license will allow one year for the review and one year for migration should we move to a new product. Many bugs and enhancement requests are being targeted for NG, unfortunately NG is missing a good deal of the functionality that we use in Vista. Said functionality is apparently coming in a later release of NG - but until that point we are left with bugs and enhancement requests that are targeted for a release that we cannot use.
