*The City of Windsor rezoned an existing building in downtown Windsor for a School of Journalism.  Renovations are scheduled to be complete by March 2010.  This will be St. Clair’s second building in the downtown  core – the first being the St. Clair Centre for the Arts.&lt;br /&gt;
*The CCIP building (Centre for Construction Innovation and Production) on the South Campus opened with great fanfare.  The Premier himself was on campus, a first ever for St. Clair!&lt;br /&gt;
*A new Health Sciences building is scheduled to break ground on the South Campus in Windsor in 2010 and a new Trades and Construction centre at the Thames Campus in Chatham.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
== ACADEMIC PROGRAMMING and GOALS ==&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
*9 new programs were validated and MTCU approved in 2009 with 3 more on the ‘approval’ pathway.  More new programs in the works for 2010.&lt;br /&gt;
*In pilot, is a new annual program review process.  A new external program review process is scheduled to be piloted soon.&lt;br /&gt;
*First run of our new IFS (Instruction Feedback Survey) in process.&lt;br /&gt;
*In process, audit of all General Education courses of instruction with the directive to be in full compliance by September 2010 (yikes – don’t think that deadline will be achieved!)&lt;br /&gt;
*Health Science programming for the new building is under examination.  Would be great to have some defined degree completion pathways for our graduates before the building opens………..&lt;br /&gt;
*New this fall, new Chair for the School of Engineering Technologies and a new Chair for the School of Skilled Trades.&lt;br /&gt;

*St. Clair will be hosting phase two of CEDP (College Educators Development Program) in spring 2010.&lt;br /&gt;
