- celebrated 40 years and new name with open house, president and other leaders, past faculty and staff<br>
- Centre for Extended Learning; Distance Education is now "Waterloo Online;" Continuing Education is now "Professional Development"<br>
- expansion of online masters programs (Masters in Math for Teachers, Masters in Environment and Business)<br>
- new hires with funding model for masters (6 new developers, 2 QA, 2 IDs [but all contracts]<br>
- new marcomm person & marketing material<br>
- reorganization of unit under new manager<br>
- reduction of wait times for new projects (from almost 2 years to 1)<br>
- significant reduction in waste (both environmental and $) by reducing physical materials mailed to students<br>
- participation in COU's brief to TCU<br>
- selected to help revamp of Waterloo Professional Development for Engineers program (PDENG)<br>
- integrating support emails into ticketing system<br>

- coming up with a sustainable model (balancing greater instructor involvement with quality/support, innovation and efficiency)<br>

- redesign of website; with new instructor resources (agreement, finding time)<br>
