Google Reader is a tool that allows users to collect information from websites through RSS feeds, which provide the latest updates to a site. Subscriptions can be added by typing the exact web address (URL) or by searching the title of the website. Once added, subscriptions can be organised into folders to allow topical compilations.
The Simulating History Lab at Brock University has created this tutorial to help digital humanists get started with Google Reader.
