Hey guys it would be good if you can put what section you think your article goes in when you post it here! just so we don't all have the same topic of article at the end... i don't know if this makes sense

you can comment on the section you are updating here

What do we want in this section exactly?? How fungal biopesticides are applied?? Let us know if any of you have an idea!

[edit] pesticides/herbicides

I've renamed this section on the mainpage to biopesticides and put my content here '-Jessi'\

good job its awesome!! -andreanne

[edit] species

Lecanicillium Lecanii - Margaret

  • I'm going to focus on its taxonomic position, mode of action, toxins and extracellular enzymes produced by the fungus.

Margaret, so far, I have been finding that the most important specie that does mycoparasitism (fungi being fungicide) is Trichoderma spp. This info comes from my book that dates from 1992, i have not started to make real reference but I will give you the reference when I get there. I know that the guys that work on pesticide and herbicide will probably have trichoderma as an important specie. im just gonnna say that for now, I am gathering informations about trichoderma and ill start writing a summary of what i have found right after im done writing this, I just wanted to make sure you don't think I forgot ahah. At the same time, you know now that trichoderma related information you find accidentally are important. - andreanne

[edit] definition

I made a definitions page, so when you want to define a term.. put it here those currently listed are mine '-Jessi'
