These charts are based on course requests and the number of student seats in Brock's WebCT. Student seats represent the number of students assigned to each course, one student may be in five courses and thus represent five seats. The number of courses is an approximation, as our methods of accounting for courses, and for ensuring that only courses that are needed remain on WebCT, have improved over time.

Kristina Stanley, who joined the CTLET to assist with all projects and programming, compared the registrar's records of course offerings in Fall/Winter 2007 to the courses that had WebCT components. The results was 1349 out of 1689 primary (lecture) offerings, some 79.87% of courses make use of WebCT, when accounting for cross-listed courses. Additionally her "hand" count of courses revealed a discrepancy between the automated reporting used to create the data found above, as such the data above should be treated as a charting of a trend if not a quantitative report.
