There are currently two main versions of Microsoft's Internet Explorer, version 6 which came with Windows XP and version 7 which will ship with Windows Vista and is available right now from Microsoft's web site.

Internet Explorer 7 works well with WebCT with the exception of the content browser window used for adding files. The content browser window will often appear too narrow for practical use. There is no known solution for this.

Internet Explorer 6 is a set of core technologies in Microsoft Windows operating systems that provides enhanced privacy features and a flexible and reliable browsing experience. This web browser is used by over 80% of internet users.

This browser has been known to have trouble logging into WebCT after spyware or virusses have infected it.
