An open source application named the Cyberduck ( http://cyberduck.ch )have proven to be very reliable (more so than OSX itself) and works on earlier versions of OSX.

Here are the steps for using Cyberduck: Download the Cyberduck WebDAV client If you are using a newer version of OSX you can download the latest version Cyberduck at: http://cyberduck.ch If you are using an older version of OSX (OS 10.3 and earlier, circa 2005) you can download Cyberduck 2.8.5 at: http://update.cyberduck.ch/Cyberduck-2.8.5.dmg Decompress the file and double-click on the .dmg file. (Depending on the configuration of your decompression software, the disk image may automatically mount.) A disk image named Cyberduck should now be available. Simply drag and drop the folder from the disk image to your Applications folder. Open the Cyberduck application in your Applications folder. Click the Open Connection button. In the Server dialog box, type (or copy and paste) the entier a URL that points to the destination Resources tool and press the return or enter key. Type in your CAMPUS ID and password and click OK. Drag and drop the files to and from your OSX Finder and the Cyberduck window.
