Publish a Site
From Information about Isaak, Brock University's Sakai-Based LMS
Your course is ready to be revealed to students and TAs this is done by "Publishing the Course".
When your course is not published you will see a ! unpublished site message at the top left.
When instructors request their course they are asked to select an activation date, on this date the site will be published automatically. By following the steps below sites can be preemptively published or retroactively unpublished.

[edit] Publish Site
- Go to "Site Info" on the left.
- Choose "Manage Access".
- Select "publish site".
- Press "Update" at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm the site is published by making sure the "! unpublished site" message is no longer at the top left.
A site can be manually unpublished again be returning to the same page and selecting " Leave as Draft - accessible only to site maintainers".

- Go to "Site Info" on the left.
- Choose "Manage Access".
- Un-check "publish site".
- Press "Update" at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm the site is no longer published by making sure the "! unpublished site" message has appeared at the top left.

- Publishing a site can also be referred to as activating a site, as it is with Brock's WebCT system.
