Lighting round description of our respective triumphs & challenges this year to kick start the OUCEL Summer Institute 2011.

2:30 pm: Cloud and 2.0 - Risk and Benefit

A panel presentation exploring perspectives along the continuum between using well established institutional LMS tools and leveraging 2.0 and cloud technologies for online learning in higher education. How do we encourage innovation while ensuring data security? Can we require our students to post information and resources to third party environments? What are the FIPPA implications of using non-institutional environments? A candid discussion about the big elephant in the room and implications for academic technology support.
