The primary audience of this article are members of the Brock University community and may assume things that only apply in a Brock context.
There are four types of access for Wikis on Kumu
- Very Public: Anyone can access the wiki and edit the wiki, making the wiki quick and easy to edit.
- Account-To-Edit: Anyone can access the wiki, only authenticated users can edit the wiki
- Semi-Secure: Only authenticated users can view and edit the wiki. Please consider that accounts themselves aren't that hard to come by (see Account Creation below).
- Very-Secure: You set a "magic password" and all users will have to enter it when they view or edit the wiki. SSL (HTTPS://) is enforced not just for passwords, but also for viewing content.
