Expectations

Eachgroup(of3people)will create the following

8 to 10 pages of text (about 2,000 words max)

– select 2 to 3 short videos (3 to 5 minutes in length, max)

– 2 to 3 visuals (i.e., pictures, figures), plus

– 8 to 10 referred papers

• Once a team decides on a topic, please come to see me

• We can allow 2 or 3 projects per major area related to moral engagement

• Major evaluation criteria, how well integrated all the components of the Wiki are and are the digital features of the Wiki fully used (20%)

• One page Proposal is due February 14, 2013, before class

• Final Wiki Moral engagement projects due April 4, 2013, at 2:00 pm

Throughout early developmental years, moral engagement and moral disengagement play a role in how peers develop relationships (SOURCE). Throughout this wiki, we will be discussing Moral Development and Bullying. This topic will explore how children gage their moral decisions and how this plays a role in the presence of bullying. In addition, we will explore some intervention strategies that will combat both moral disengagement and bullying behaviours.
